The quality provided by the Educampus information system includes aspects of usability, information, interactivity, and design. The majority of respondents access the academic website frequently (32%) and perceive the current website quality to be good (42%), although some issues remain, such as an unappealing interface and inaccurate information. Most respondents (53%) find that the website services meet their expectations satisfactorily. The research was carried out by distributing 100 questionnaires, with data processed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The IPA method aims to evaluate the alignment between expectation and perception levels, followed by plotting the results on a Cartesian diagram. Findings from the IPA calculations indicate that providing clear and easily understood information should be prioritized for system improvement, while several other indicators already meet user expectations, with one attribute (attribute 13) requiring enhancement. Overall, indicators that align with user expectations include indicators numbered 16, 17, 20, 12, 15, 10, 3, 14, 1, and 19. This implies that the institution should prioritize simplifying information provision indicators to improve user comprehension.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 I Gede Dody Okta Biantara, Ayu Gde Chrisna Udayanie, I Made Kresna Danahttps://ejournal.sidyanusa.org/index.php/jkdn/article/view/728Comparison of Essay Quiz Assessment Using Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) Method2024-12-20T16:23:37+07:00Ratih Dewi[email protected]Esa Nur Aziiz[email protected]Triani Aulya Fitri[email protected]
This research presents the development of an automated evaluation system for web-based essay exams using the Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) algorithm. The system aims to address the limitations of manual assessment, including inconsistency, subjectivity, and the risk of losing student responses. LSA is employed to measure the similarity between student responses and the provided key. The evaluation process consists of several stages: text processing, answer correction using LSA, cosine similarity calculation, and final scoring based on a predefined weight. The similarity score is obtained through a vector space model that applies Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and cosine similarity between the response and the key. The system's assessment results demonstrate a correlation coefficient of 0.685 and a p-value of 0.00487, indicating a statistically significant relationship. This suggests that the system can effectively replace manual grading. A comparison between teacher evaluations and system-generated scores shows a high level of agreement in specific areas, though some discrepancies exist in broader aspects. The system enhances the assessment process by increasing efficiency, improving objectivity, and supporting the digitization of learning. Therefore, this system plays a crucial role in advancing the quality and effectiveness of learning evaluation in education.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ratih Dewi, Esa Nur Aziiz, Triani Aulya Fitrihttps://ejournal.sidyanusa.org/index.php/jkdn/article/view/750Virtual Tour of Putra Deli Beach as a Media Digital Transformation of Tourism2025-01-12T10:50:55+07:00Ihsan Lubis[email protected]Septiana Dewi Andriana[email protected]
A virtual tour is a technology that can map the physical form of a place into a 360° representation, transforming it into a virtual reality experience. This study designed and implemented a weight-based waste transport and classification system using IoT technology and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model. The primary issue addressed was the low efficiency of manual waste handling, particularly for heavier waste types. The system features a motor-driven conveyor, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors, and a NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller. The CNN model was employed to classify waste into light (<50 grams), medium (50–150 grams), and heavy (>150 grams) categories.Testing revealed a transport success rate of 100% for light waste, 90–95% for medium waste, but dropped to 40% for heavy waste. The CNN model demonstrated high accuracy (>95%) for light waste classification but decreased to <70% for heavy waste due to the complexity of features. In conclusion, the system is effective for light and medium waste but requires optimisation for heavy waste, showing great potential as an innovative solution for sustainable waste management.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 I Gusti Made Ngurah Desnanjaya, I Made Aditya Nugraha, I Kadek Adi Widagda, I Gede Adnyanahttps://ejournal.sidyanusa.org/index.php/jkdn/article/view/749Classification of Banana Leaf Diseases Using a GoogleNet-Based Convolutional Neural Network Architecture2025-01-12T10:46:35+07:00Nurul Arifin[email protected]
Farmers generally identify the type of pest on banana leaves based on the size, shape, and color of the leaves alone. From the results of the analysis of the trial process that has been carried out from the research stage, from epoch 10 to 100 in summary from each experiment GoogleNet produced the best accuracy results model from batch size 35 and epoch 60 in the healthy leaf class produced an accuracy of 90.59%, epoch 80 in the layufusarium produced 90.30% and at epoch 70 in sigatoka produced 90.49%.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Arifinhttps://ejournal.sidyanusa.org/index.php/jkdn/article/view/723Implementation of Median Filter in Data Processing of Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System with DHT 11 and DHT 22 Sensors2024-12-23T10:28:58+07:00Luqman Aji Kusumo[email protected]
This research focuses on enhancing the accuracy and stability of temperature measurements obtained from DHT11 and DHT22 sensors through the application of a median filter. Data was collected using an ESP32 microcontroller and stored as a time-series dataset in a MySQL database. Given that the DHT11 sensor is more prone to inaccuracies and noise compared to the higher-precision DHT22 sensor, the median filter was implemented to minimize outliers and fluctuations in the recorded readings. The results indicate that the median filter significantly improves data stability for the DHT11 sensor, effectively reducing noise-induced anomalies. Meanwhile, for the DHT22 sensor, the filter has minimal impact due to its already high accuracy and lower susceptibility to noise. These findings demonstrate that the median filter is particularly beneficial for sensors with lower precision, offering a cost-effective method for refining temperature data in monitoring applications. The study underscores the importance of noise reduction techniques in enhancing sensor performance, making the median filter a practical solution for improving data reliability in real-time temperature monitoring systems.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Luqman Aji Kusumohttps://ejournal.sidyanusa.org/index.php/jkdn/article/view/739Implementation of Grayscale Image Transformation and Histogram Equalization Methods in Digital Image Processing2024-12-23T06:14:45+07:00Kusnadi Kusnadi[email protected]Diyaa Aaisyah Salmaa Putri Atmaja[email protected]
Medical digital image processing is typically color-based and exhibits varying quality, which necessitates further processing to enhance visibility and contrast. The main issue addressed in this study is how to process color images to produce higher-quality images that facilitate analysis and highlight hidden features. This research proposes several image processing methods to tackle these problems, including color image (RGB) to grayscale conversion, image inversion, constant addition, and histogram equalization. Each step aims to improve the contrast and quality of medical images, producing clearer and more informative results. Histograms are used to analyze pixel intensity distribution, while histogram equalization serves to normalize the intensity distribution and enhance image contrast. The results of this study demonstrate that by applying these techniques, medical images can experience significant quality improvement, with sharper contrast and more evenly distributed pixel intensities. This process allows previously hidden areas in dark or bright regions of the image to become clearer. The processed images help in further analysis and can improve the accuracy of medical diagnosis.
2025-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Kusnadi Kusnadi, Diyaa Aaisyah Salmaa Putri Atmaja
